This topographic information can reach an atomic resolution, even sub-atomic in certain cases by using tips functionalized with polar molecules (CO, NaCl,\u2026). Even if this scientific activity is essential in the UHV-SPM community, it seems interesting to us to highlight in this GdR other scientific applications of UHV-SPM techniques.<br>Quatre axes th\u00e9matiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 choisis par la communaut\u00e9 pour explorer et mettre en oeuvre avec des techniques UHV-SPM les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques, \u00e9lectroniques, magn\u00e9tiques et photoniques de la surface et de nano-objets adsorb\u00e9s et\/ou construits par manipulation :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this GDR, five research axis are
