The school will be held at the IGeSA center<\/a> on the l’\u00eele de Porquerolles<\/em><\/a> in the region of Hy\u00e8res<\/em><\/a>. The IGeSA center is located in the village of Porquerolles<\/em>, a 20-minute walk from the port (see map<\/a>). It belongs to the French armed forces as a place for vacation and meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Please, print out the map<\/a> so that you can find your way around.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Accommodation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All participants will be accommodated at the IGeSA. The organization has reserved a limited number of rooms on the campus. Note that single rooms will be attributed to invited speakers and senior researchers (CNRS, university, CEA, etc.) in priority. Young researchers (PhD students and post-docs) have to share a room.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Meals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Breakfast will be served in a buffet-style from 07h15 to 09h15. Lunch (buffet) is from 12h30 to 14h00, dinner (buffet) from 19h30 (last entrance: 20h15). Mineral water and wine are served at lunch and dinner time whereas coffee is available after lunch. Additional beverages are at the participants' own expense. Non-resident conferees are expected to have lunch and dinner with resident conferees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Internet access<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There is no access to the Internet (Wireless LAN) in the rooms, in the lecture room and on the entire site, despite a small confined area at the reception. If you need Wireless LAN Internet access, a solution is to go to the 'city center' and to obtain Internet, e.g., in a restaurant, cafe or a bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contact<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n H\u00f4tel Club IGESA The island of Porquerolles can only be reached by a ferry from La Tour Fondue<\/em> (map<\/a>).<\/strong> By airplane<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n One hour's flight from Paris<\/em> to the airport of Toulon-Hy\u00e8res<\/em> (map<\/a>). There is a taxi connection between Toulon-Hy\u00e8res<\/em> and La Tour Fondue<\/em>. By train<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The nearest train station is Hy\u00e8res<\/em> (map<\/a>), which is a 15-minute drive from the starting point for La Tour Fondue. The closest main central train station -<\/em> is at Toulon<\/em>. By bus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bus 67: map<\/a> and timetable<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n From the railway station Hy\u00e8res<\/em><\/strong>: take the bus 67 to La Tour Fondue<\/em> (~30 min). By car<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n From Paris:<\/strong> Highway A7, then A8 in direction to Aix-en-Provence<\/em>, Toulon<\/em> and then drive on the A570 to Hy\u00e8res<\/em> an on the D97 to La Tour Fondue<\/em>. Parking \/ car<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n There are essentially three large parking areas where you can find spaces at any time (map<\/a>). Rates are around 24 euros per day. There are even charging stations for electric vehicles.
